UNITE FOR CHANGE

Who We Are

We are a new political force born from the urgent need to rescue South Africa from the grip of dysfunction, inequality, and political decay. Formed through the historic coming together of RISE Mzansi, Build One South Africa, and the GOOD Party, and open to all who share our values, we are building a new political home for South Africans who believe in ethical leadership, constitutional democracy, and a future that leaves no one behind.

This important political consolidation is ongoing. It will continue to grow and evolve as other political parties, civic movements, and credible South Africans join us in building a broad, united political movement with a shared vision for the country.

UNITE FOR CHANGE

Our Foundational Values

We are anchored on the social democratic values of justice, equality, solidarity and freedom.

Dignity

Every person has intrinsic worth and must be treated accordingly.

Accountability

Power must always be answerable to the people.

Solidarity

A commitment to mutual care, cooperation, and the common good.

Justice

Economic, social, and spatial justice as the core outcomes of governance.

Participation

Democracy must be lived through voice, vote, and visibility.

Innovation

Solutions must meet the moment with urgency, creativity, and courage.

UNITED FOR CHANGE

Our Plan for Local Government

We are building a broad, ethical movement rooted in dignity, accountability, and justice. These are the priorities guiding us as we reclaim South Africa's future together.

Capable & Ethical Leadership

Capable & Ethical Leadership

We will professionalise local government so merit, not connections, decides who serves. Ensuring trustworthy institutions led by skilled, values-driven people who deliver.

Local Economic Recovery

Local Economic Recovery

We'll make municipalities engines of inclusive growth. Ensuring safe, serviced business precincts, thriving SMMEs, and jobs where people are.

Dignity Through Basic Services

Dignity Through Basic Services

No one should go without water, sanitation, electricity, refuse removal, transport, housing, or decent healthcare. Ensuring reliable, dignified services that are the foundation for health, safety, and economic participation.

Safety & Justice

Safety & Justice

We'll reclaim public spaces and make safety a lived reality, especially for children. Ensuring clean, well-managed, well-lit neighbourhoods where children (and everyone) can move without fear.

Digitisation

Digitisation

We'll harness technology to make service delivery faster, fairer, and corruption-proof. Ensuring smarter allocation of scarce resources, proactive maintenance, and dramatically less room for graft.

UNITE FOR CHANGE

Building a movement for change

Our mission is to bring together citizens, activists, community leaders, and public servants who are committed to restoring dignity, accountability, and delivery at every level of government. The door remains wide open to those who are ready to help shape a new chapter for our country, together.

Our vision for South Africa

UNITE FOR CHANGE

A bold vision for our future

Our vision is rooted in social democracy, constitutional values, and a bold commitment to rebuild trust between citizens and the state.

We envision:

  • A South Africa where every person, regardless of race, gender, geography, or income, has the freedom to dream and the means to act on those dreams.
  • A South Africa governed by principled, capable, and ethical leadership.
  • A South Africa where local government works, because it is led by the most committed among us.
  • A South Africa that breaks from the legacy of capture and neglect and chooses collaboration, constitutionalism, and care.
